Travel Expert Stephanie Abrams Adds Boston's WBIX AM 1060 to Coast-to-Coast Affiliates Airing 'Travel WITH Stephanie Abrams!'

BOSTON, May 17, 2004 (PRIMEZONE) -- "We're growing in every direction!," states travel expert Stephanie Abrams about her nationally syndicated radio talk show, "Travel WITH Stephanie Abrams!", heard simultaneously nationwide on Sundays in the 7 to 9pm EST time slot on the Business Talk Radio Network. "I am thrilled to announce that my show is moving to WBIX AM 1060, Boston's only all business talk radio station, effective May 23, 2004! The demographic of the audience is a perfect match for the quality of business and leisure travel information for which my show is lauded," Abrams states.

With her on-air 'Traveling Companion,' radio veteran Dave Isby, Abrams plans to highlight Massachusetts tourism with programs devoted to the unique regions of the state. "We broadcast from Pittsfield, Massachusetts in the beautiful Berkshire Mountains," Abrams explains, "and, while it's only a 2 hour drive to Boston, the difference represents the extremes of the beauty of Massachusetts. We've got the rural countryside, the majesty of the mountains and the skiing. Boston has the metropolitan allure and the ocean. What we share is the rich historical heritage and an interconnected cultural tapestry weaving together Eastern and Western Massachusetts. One of our greatest shared cultural assets is the Boston Symphony Orchestra, which spends its summers in the Berkshires at Tanglewood. It's wonderful to have so many great hotels, inns, cultural venues and attractions in the state. We can provide the forum for our national audience to learn why Massachusetts should be on every traveler's 'Must Visit' list for year 'round touring, and as a strategic part of every company's business development plans which gives us a chance to focus on conference centers and hotels for the business traveler," Abrams notes.

The May 23rd show features interviews with the Captain and General Manager of MSC Italian Cruises' the Lirica, and Budd Friedman, CEO and Founder of the Improv Clubs. May 30th features Jean Louis Leimbacher, General Manager of the historic Hotel du Palais, built by Napoleon for the Empress Eugenie and Sir John Leslie, patriarch of Castle Leslie in Glaslough, Country Monahan, Ireland where Paul McCartney was married in June, 2002. Abrams award-winning website, www.sabrams.com, provides an Audio Archive of past shows as well as Show Notes for details on programming.

"Among our weekly features is 'Caribbean Corner', in which we visit hoteliers and directors of tourism to learn about the uniqueness of each destination. Berthia Parle, President-Elect of the Caribbean Hotel Association, introduces that segment weekly with gracious Caribbean warmth and charm," Abrams explains.

Recurring features include: The Traveling Pet, Have Children . . .Will Travel!, The Road Warrior's Oasis, Hotel Check-In, and Cruise News.

WBIX joins Abrams' list of affiliates on the heels of Florida's Gold Coast 50,000 watt radio station, WWNN, which provides a listening audience from North Miami to Jupiter, and debuted in early May. Abrams sums it up by saying, "It's been quite a month!"
