NEW YORK, May 21, 2004 (PRIMEZONE) -- Otish Mountain Diamond Company, Inc. (OTCBB:OMDC), a diamond exploration company conducting exploration activities in the Otish Mountains region of northern Quebec, announced today the importance of its Chief Technical Advisor, Mr. Martin St. Pierre. Mr. St. Pierre will be responsible for the overall coordination of all aspects of the Otish Mountains Project from heading and coordinating the project work plan, to delivery of all substantive technical reports.
Martin St. Pierre brings with him a wealth of experience in metal and diamond exploration ventures from several of his Uranium and Gold exploration projects in Quebec, Alberta and British Columbia. Previously, as a Project Geophysicist for BHP Minerals Canada in British Columbia and the Northwest Territories, Martin was directly involved with the discovery of more than 50 kimberlites, including the valuable Sable and Pidgeon kimberlites. From 1996 to 1999, as Senior Project Geoscientist for BHP Diamonds, he designed and maintained exploration and mineral sampling programs in Canada, South America, Southern Africa, and Australia. Mr. St. Pierre has since started his own consulting firm in 1999 and is a graduate of McGill University in Montreal.
