Telelogic Expands and Strengthens Asian Operations

Opens New Offices in Bangkok and New Delhi; Expands Services in Shanghai and Beijing

MALMO, Sweden, IRVINE, Calif. and BANGKOK, Thailand, June 7, 2004 (PRIMEZONE) -- Telelogic (Other OTC:TGIAF), the leading global provider of solutions for advanced software and systems development, today announced that it has expanded its operations in the Asia/Pacific region by opening new representative offices in Bangkok, Thailand and New Delhi, India. The company also recently expanded its Shanghai office to better serve the Eastern China region and enhanced its presence in Northern China by increasing its Beijing-based sales force.

The new Bangkok office serves as the company's base of operations for the Indochina region and is responsible for expanding Telelogic's business and customer base in Thailand. It will also serve as a platform for future expansion in the Indochina market. The Bangkok office will report to and be supported by Telelogic's Singapore office.

"Telelogic's revenue in Thailand increased significantly between 2002 and 2003 and the country is forecasted to be one of the fastest growing economies in Asia," said Scott Raskin, president of Telelogic Americas and Asia/Pacific. "With our portfolio of integrated application lifecycle management tools and now a local office, Telelogic is well positioned to serve local customers in Thailand, as well as other customers who are expanding operations in the Bangkok area."

In India, Telelogic recently opened a new office in New Delhi to provide enhanced support for sales and marketing operations. "New Delhi is our second largest Indian market after Bangalore, which has been our India headquarters since January 2001," said Raskin. "This expansion enables us to be closer to our customers and be even more responsive to their needs to ensure success."

The Asia/Pacific region continues to be an area of strong growth for Telelogic with Japan being the company's largest market. Revenues from South East Asia increased 30 percent last year, fueled by strong license growth. In addition, sales of the company's popular DOORS(R) requirements management software in the region grew by 95 percent in 2003.

Opening a representative office in Thailand supports the company's long-term strategy of expansion into the region. Recently, Telelogic strengthened its operations in China by adding to its Beijing-based sales force and enhancing operations in Shanghai.

"By expanding our Shanghai office with a new sales and marketing team as well as professional and technical services, Telelogic is taking full advantage of the explosion of new business opportunities brought about by the influx of new, multi-national companies in Shanghai," Raskin said. "Moreover, as Shanghai competes with Hong Kong for market share, the focus will be on its rapidly growing core industries, especially automotive, telecommunications, and Information Technology (IT), in which the development of high quality, error-free software is key to achieving a competitive edge. Telelogic will be well positioned to provide the application lifecycle management tools that these Shanghai-based companies need to be successful."

Helen Leng, who has joined the company as market operations director for Eastern China, will head Telelogic's expanded Shanghai office. Before joining Telelogic, Leng held a similar position at IBM/Rational Software.
