BAY CITY, Mich. and TORONTO, June 17, 2004 (PRIMEZONE) -- UgoMedia Interactive Corp (Pink Sheets:UGMI) (name change to Sciax Corporation pending) announced today that Richard Wolf GmbH has created a new covert flexible endoscope capability designed for use with the company's Wolf Pack tactical remote viewing system. The covert endoscope interfaces with Wolf Pack through the use of the current C5d high sensitivity endoscope camera module, or with a new night vision module scheduled for near-term introduction.
"By revisiting the design of the flexible fiberoptic endoscope, Wolf has been able to produce an extremely high resolution probe in a very small diameter," stated Ken Smart, President of Sciax. "Bright optics combined with this very high resolution means that we can integrate this endoscope effectively into our system, providing a number of electronic imaging options to our customers."
The Sciax Wolf Pack is a highly modularized opto-electronic remote viewing system used by law enforcement and military personnel. The reconfigurable, multi-operational design of Wolf Pack makes the system ideal for many applications in physical security, drug and contraband interdiction, tactical response and protective security. Wolf Pack electronics and optical components are built to high standards of durability, allowing successful deployment in harsh conditions that would prohibit the use of many conventional imaging systems.
