CUMMING, Ga., July 26, 2004 (PRIMEZONE) -- PlanetLink Communications Inc. (OTCBB:PLKC), a provider of satellite-based products and services, announced today that it has processed its first commercial orders of the TransTRAK mobile locator device for businesses in the U.S.A.
These initial orders are for small numbers of units that have been sold to three different customers in the Atlanta, Georgia area. The Company announced earlier this month that it had completed its first commercial agreement for an order of 400 units of the TransTRAK mobile locator device to Mexico-based Estrella Blanca, SA. This order calls for the delivery of 400 units within this current quarter ended September 30, 2004 for Estrella Blanca, SA, whose total fleet encompasses over 5,000 vehicles. Shortly after the completion of its first commercial order in Mexico, PlanetLink began marketing TransTRAK through a distributor relationship to businesses in the Atlanta area. The Company is currently in the process of establishing sales and marketing channels in other major metropolitan cities across the U.S. PlanetLink anticipates that its consumer product offering will also be available in the U.S.A. by the end of this year.
