World Transport Authority Inc. Ships First Product From New Manufacturing Subsidiary


SAN DIEGO, Aug. 12, 2004 (PRIMEZONE) -- World Transport Authority Inc., a Canadian corporation (OTCBB:WTAI) (Frankfurt:920943), today announced the first customer shipment through its manufacturing subsidiary, Millennium Autotech International Corporation.

MAIC shipped the first portion of Cameron International's $3.4 million order on August 10. The initial shipment consisted of three WorldStar(R) demonstration vehicles for the customer's pre-sales and marketing purposes. MAIC has also completed the first three of six micro-manufacturing factories in the order. The three factories are ready to ship and only awaiting final payment and shipping instructions. Shipment is anticipated for mid-August.

Cameron International's order was previously announced in January.

Millennium Autotech International Corporation (MAIC) is a wholly owned subsidiary of WTAI's operating subsidiary company, Autotech International Corp., and it was formed in the Philippines to manufacture the company's micro-manufacturing units used for assembly of WorldStar(R) vehicles.

Autotech International Corp., a wholly owned subsidiary corporation of WTAI, develops commercial "Factory-in-a-Box"(TM) sales for the manufacture of Worldstar(R) vehicles on a worldwide basis. Worldstar vehicles are designed for rural and undeveloped areas allowing basic transportation of goods and people. The Worldstar vehicle is manufactured in-country with an AIC-designed factory by the local factory owner utilizing local labor and materials.
