STOCKHOLM, Sweden, Sept. 16, 2004 (PRIMEZONE) -- Munters has received orders on equipment for emission control.
Munters has been awarded a large VOC (Volatile Organic Compounds) abatement equipment order from a leading semiconductor manufacturer. The Zeol systems treat plant emissions of VOCs which are harmful to human health and to the environment.
In June Munters received a similar order from the same customer. These orders are repeat sales to Munters customer expanding his operation in the US and on Ireland. Munters has also recently received another Zeol order for a paint finishing application.
"Munters equipment concentrates the VOC emissions into a small manageable exhaust stream before treating them in an oxidizer where they are destroyed. The benefit to the customer is a significant operating cost savings over competing technologies," explains Pete Krenitsky, Sales Manager for the Zeol Division.
The total order value for these two new orders is over USD 1.3 million with delivery in 2004 and early 2005.
The complete Zeol systems are fabricated and assembled in the Munters manufacturing facility in Amesbury, Massachusetts. They are suitable for indoor and outdoor installation and are used by semiconductor manufacturers around the world.
Munters is the world leader in humidity control with products and services for water and fire damage restoration, dehumidification, humidification and air cooling. Customers are found in a wide range of segments, the most important being insurance-, utilities-, food-, pharma- and electronics- industries. Manufacturing and sales are carried out via the Group's own companies in more than 25 countries in Europe, Americas, and Asia. The Group has 3,000 employees and net sales of SEK 4,200 million. Munters is listed on Stockholmsborsen, the Stockholm Stock Exchange. For more information see www.munters.com
