AdZone Research Demands Immediate Delisting from Berlin Stock Exchange Due to Suspected Naked Short Selling

CALVERTON, N.Y., Sept. 22, 2004 (PRIMEZONE) -- AdZone Research, Inc. (OTCBB:ADZR), a provider of pioneering Internet surveillance technology, reported today that the company has demanded an immediate delisting from the Berlin Stock Exchange.

AdZone Chairman & CEO Charles A Cardona said in a letter to a senior officer of the Berlin exchange: "Our stock was listed on the Berlin Stock Exchange even though the company's officers or directors never applied for such a listing ... Although this may have been brought forth with good intentions, we are requesting that you immediately delist our company from any further trading activity ... and notify me of an effective date for delisting."

Cardona went on to say that during the past several weeks the company's share price has traded downward in the face of numerous positive corporate developments. He said AdZone management believes that the persistent pressure on its share price may, in some manner, be related to this erroneous listing on the Berlin Stock Exchange.

"... Investors looking to purchase shares of AdZone Research should only purchase them from market makers on the Over The Counter Bulletin Board," Cardona said. "... Shares traded on the Berlin Stock Exchange are not recognized by AdZone Research ... It is unfortunate that the perpetrators of such deliberate actions can create potential adversity, cause unsuspecting shareholders to prematurely sell their shares, and create downward pressure on our stock price so that they can then purchase these shares at a much lower price," the CEO continued. "Quite frankly, our future has never been brighter as we have made great strides to grow our company and announced them over the past two weeks."

AdZone Research is headquartered in Calverton, N.Y., in a facility that formerly housed major defense contractor Northrop Grumman Corporation. The facility was earlier used for top-secret defense research and development, and was part of the United States Navy's Naval Defense Technology Center.
