FORT MYERS, Fla., Sept. 29, 2004 (PRIMEZONE) -- Innova Holdings, Inc. (OTCBB:IVHG), announced that Tom Helzerman has joined the Board of Directors of Robotic Workspace Technologies, Inc. (RWT), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Innova. Mr. Helzerman is currently President of Ariel Group, a business and automation consulting company to the manufacturing industry located in Ann Arbor, MI.

Mr. Helzerman joined RWT in January 2002 as President and Chief Operating Officer. Before joining RWT, Tom spent 36 years at Ford Motor Company, serving in a number of manufacturing, engineering, and management positions within Vehicle Operations; Engineering and Manufacturing Staff; ALPHA Simultaneous Engineering; and Jaguar Cars, Coventry, England.
Mr. Helzerman is an SME Certified Manufacturing Engineer in Robotics and a past member of the Robotic Industries Association's Board of Directors (RIA). He was honored with the Joseph F. Engelberger Robotics Award for Applications in 1999. He is a past chairman of RIA's Robot Performance Standards Sub-Committee. Under his chairmanship, two robot performance standards were developed and approved by the American National Standards Institute (ANSI). These two standards are based largely upon his pioneering work in the development of the Ford Robot Assessment Program while at the Robotics and Automation Application Consulting Center (RAACC), Engineering and Manufacturing Staff.
Mr. Helzerman received both a Bachelor of Science in Industrial and Systems Engineering and a Master of Science in Manufacturing Systems Engineering from the University of Michigan - Dearborn. He is a past member of that school's Alumni Advisory Committee and also a past member of the Alumni Affiliate Board of Governors. He received the School of Engineering's Distinguished Alumni Service Award in 1995. Tom is a past president of the Ypsilanti (Michigan) Jaycees, past president of the Michigan JCI Senate and has received community service awards from the Ford Motor Company, the Michigan State House of Representatives, and the Michigan State Senate.
