STOCKHOLM, Sweden, Oct. 6, 2004 (PRIMEZONE) -- OMX AB and Remium AB have concluded a liquidity providing agreement (market making), which fulfils the requirements of the Helsinki Stock Exchange Ltd's Liquidity Providing. The purpose of the agreement is to promote the liquidity of the OMX AB share listed on Helsinki Stock Exchange.
According to the agreement, Remium will provide the OMX AB share with bids and offers so that the maximum difference between a bid and offer price is 1 percent of the bid. Bids and offers include at least 800 shares, which equals 4 round lots.
Remium undertakes to submit bids and offers for the OMX AB share in the Helsinki Stock Exchange's trading system, on the Main List, on each trading day for at least 85 percent of the time of continuous trading and in the Exchange's opening and closing auction procedures applicable to the OMX AB share.
The liquidity providing operation will commence on October 11, 2004. The agreement is valid, after a six months term, until further notice and the term of notice of the agreement is one month.
