Regent USA's Sampo brand will be positioned as the company's flagship line of feature-rich business-class display solutions, joining the company's existing Maxent(tm) line of affordable consumer display and DVD products. Because Sampo has already met specifications and has been approved for many commercial, education and government (CEG) applications and projects, the license agreement will give Regent USA immediate access to these markets.
Sampo-branded displays, which are designed for high-end digital video applications, are ideal for a wide variety of implementations with an extensive set of advanced features that includes: standard television tuners, DVI interface with HDCP Digital Content Protection System, high definition (HD) component video inputs, RGB loop-out connectors, subwoofer outputs, HD picture-in-picture and side-by-side picture, ATSC signal compatibility, built-in audio amplifiers, RS232 serial connections, and RJ-45 connections.
