Ron Fukui Named Chief Technology Officer of Innova Holdings, Inc. Subsidiary, RWT


FORT MYERS, Fla., Oct. 11, 2004 (PRIMEZONE) -- Innova Holdings, Inc. (OTCBB: IVHG) announced that Ron Fukui will join the Board of Directors and serve as the Chief Technology Officer of Robotic Workspace Technologies, Inc. (RWT(tm)), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Innova. Mr. Fukui is currently President and co-owner of Amiteq International LLC., a company providing sensors for new automobile applications, and a General Manager for PSI Corporation, a leading independent repair company

"I have worked with Ron since we were with Prab Robots, Inc. in the late 1970s," says Walter Weisel, Chairman and CEO of RWT and Innova Holdings, Inc. "Ron was the Product Engineering Manager responsible for the design of that company's robot control systems. He also developed vision-guided tracking and integrated tactile sensor systems overcoming early limitations of these emerging technologies. Ron is an innovator who never fails to ask, 'How can we make it better?' We are very fortunate to have Ron join our team," Weisel concludes.

In 2001, Mr. Fukui founded FAST Inc., to repair Japanese industrial products. The operation was later sold to PSI. Prior to founding FAST, Mr. Fukui held various positions within the Enprotech Corporation, Ann Arbor, MI, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Itochu International, Tokyo, Japan, that provides engineered products and technical services to manufacturers in North America. He served as Vice President of Enprotech, General Manager of its Mechatronics Division that specializes in motion control, and as President of the COM, Inc. subsidiary that supplies PC-based test equipment exclusively for General Motors Corporation.

Mr. Fukui also served as General Manager of K & E Electronics, a provider of repair services and upgrades for electronic motion control equipment manufactured in Japan and used in North America.

For the preceding nine years, Mr. Fukui was Product Engineering Manager for Prab Robots, Inc., an international leader in the fields of industrial robots and automation.

In 1976 Mr. Fukui joined the Inspection and Recognition Division of AMF, Inc., where he designed vision systems for produce inspection in the agricultural industry.

Mr. Fukui holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from California Polytechnic University. He consults to the hydraulics industry and has spoken on various Internet commerce topics. Mr. Fukui was awarded a United States patent for a position sensor design used in harsh industrial environments.

Mr. Fukui has been an active member of SEMCA (South East Michigan Community Alliance) and served on its Board of Directors from 1996 to 2001. He led the state's SEMCA Assessment Committee and various other groups with the State of Michigan's Work Force Development organization. He was also a member of the Board of Directors for Michigan's School-to-Work programs from 1994-1998 which provides guidance and funding for various programs for schools in the area.
