(OTCBB:CLPW) today announced that Compact Power Systems, the exclusive distributor and manufacturer for the Cellboost Product line worldwide, has begun shipments of Cellboost, the first and only compact disposal battery/charger for cell phones, to Wal-Mart stores. The Cellboost product line is now available in over 2,000 Wal-Mart owned and operated stores nationwide.
Cell Power Technologies, Inc. is the exclusive sub-distributor for the Cellboost product line in Latin and South America. Cell Power is entitled to royalty payments from the distribution of units of Cellboost in the United States, Mexico, Canada, Puerto Rico, the U.S. Virgin Islands the Caribbean and Israel.
Cellboost is a lightweight, pocketsize battery/charger that provides instant talk-time in addition to charging a cell phone battery. Unlike conventional re-chargeable systems, Cellboost requires no connection to electrical outlets and does not require additional cables or hardware. Through a "quick-charge" method Cellboost transfers enough power into a dead battery to make a call in about two minutes.
