Reeltime Begins Phase II Beta Test of its Rental-On-Demand Technology

The Company successfully completes Phase I ahead of schedule

SEATTLE, Nov. 4, 2004 (PRIMEZONE) -- Reeltime Rentals, Inc. (Pink Sheets:RLTR) is pleased to announce that the Company has successfully completed the initial phase of its "Next Generation" ROD technology beta test, ahead of schedule. The beta test, consisting of three phases, was designed to give a small control group of Reeltime's potential customers a chance to evaluate the Company's Rental-On-Demand Client by providing them access a free feature length film from their PC or TV. With the completion of Phase I of the test, the company will now expand the control group to include a much greater number of potential users.

Reeltime encourages interested parties to continue to register on their website to become part of the final test phases so that it can integrate any necessary changes before its national product launch. The Company expects to receive feedback from beta testers regarding the installer package, time and quality of the video stream, and ease-of-use.

Alex Stanczyk, Chief Executive Officer of Reeltime commented, "We at Reeltime are extremely pleased with the registration turnout for the beta test of our Media Rental Device. The number of people far exceeded our expectations and we will utilize a much larger group in Phase II. The detailed feedback from the first group and the strength of the technology greatly assisted us in the debugging process allowing for the early completion of Phase I. We received a very high level of enthusiasm, assuring me that our Phase II testers are going to be extremely impressed with the picture quality and the simplicity of our service."

Following the test's completion, users will be able to report their feedback to Reeltime via their website or by emailing the development team directly. From a development perspective in phase II, ReelTime is looking to verify netcode and DRM server integrity while verifying stream speeds and encoding quality of their technology. The entire beta test is expected to last several weeks.
