Star of Business TalkRadio Network's 'Travel WITH Stephanie Abrams!' Features Favorite Destinations on Tree Displayed at Berkshire Museum's Festival of Trees

NEW YORK, Dec. 20, 2004 (PRIMEZONE) -- Where will you find travel expert Stephanie Abrams, Astronaut John Glenn, and Steinway Piano's patriarch, Henry Z. Steinway, along with views of the Arctic Ocean, Taiwan, Boston's Charles Street Inn and Williamstown, Massachusetts' The Orchards Hotel? Check out The Festival of Trees at Pittsfield, Massachusetts' Berkshire Museum, where you'll find the creation of the star of "Travel WITH Stephanie Abrams!", the syndicated radio show heard Sundays weekly coast-to-coast on the Business TalkRadio(tm) Network, in the 7pm to 9pm EST timeslot. Abrams' entry in the Festival of Trees, which runs through the end of December, features her favorite destinations worldwide, which aptly fits the museum's theme this year, "Around the World."

Abrams learned at the Berkshire Visitors Bureau's monthly Tourism Tuesday luncheon in October that, "That was the last day to be considered for entry into this yearly display of creative talent from the Berkshires!" Abrams explains. "When the luncheon was over, I left Pittsfield's Crowne Plaza Hotel and dashed across the street to the museum. The irony was that this year's theme, 'Around the World,' completely fit the focus of my national radio show! The challenge was fitting photos and memorabilia of so many extraordinary destinations prominently on the tree!" Abrams notes.

Abrams' tree, on view through December 31, 2004, boasts photos close to home and globally: Boston's Charles Street Inn, which Abrams names as her favorite hotel in the world, and Williamstown Massachusetts' The Orchards, which she describes as, "A 5-Diamond Euro-chic experience in our platinum countryside," providing visitors to the museum with a unique look at incredible hotels nearby and destinations as far away as Taiwan and Hong Kong. The tree features a view of the Arctic Ocean taken aboard a Continental Airlines flight to Asia, to hotels that provide an incredible experience in luxury and service close to home.

Photos of Abrams with John Glenn in Hawaii and Henry Steinway in front of artwork created from piano parts at NYC's Buckingham Hotel, are among highlighted features on Abrams' presentation of extraordinary destinations including: photos of Monte Carlo at Christmas; Taiwan's Queen's Headstone formation, reminders of the fabulous cuisine in France; unique scenes from Hong Kong's tallest sitting Buddha in the world; Ireland's Powers Court Falls, Northern Ireland's Giants Causeway and Abrams' favorite places to stay in Ireland including Dublin's The Merrion Hotel and chic B&B known by its address; No. 31 Leeson Close, Castle Leslie in Glaslough, Monahan and Northern Ireland's Slieve Donard and Culloden Hotels of the Hastings Hotel group.

"I hope my tree inspires people to pack up and travel as close to home as Williamstown or Boston, as far away as Taiwan and Hong Kong or as accessible as France and Monte Carlo. There's a world of hospitality waiting to greet the eager traveler," Abrams concludes, inviting visits to her award-winning website at www.sabrams.com.
