Food Safe International -- Apollo Scientific Group to Set Sights on International Chain Store and Multi-Unit Businesses

TORONTO, Dec. 21, 2004 (PRIMEZONE) -- Food Safe International, Inc. (Pink Sheets:FSIJ) soon to be renamed Apollo Scientific Group, announced today that the Company intends to establish a full range of equipment inventory and sanitization procedures required to accommodate global chain store and multi-unit businesses' sanitization needs.

In 2005, Food Safe International intends to create a substantial inventory that can successfully go after the global business and fulfill delivery requirements in a timely fashion to a range of locations with size differentiation and varied criteria. Based on the initial feedback received by management from potential global buyers, the Company concluded that it was in its best interests and its potential clients to amass this selection of customized equipment and procedures so the Company can expeditiously deliver on anticipated order flow.

"One of our Company's 2005 goals is to go after the global chain stores and multi-unit market allowing for an ongoing revenue stream. It has always been our goal to work with the American public market to demand a higher standard of food safety. With escalating homeland security issues, we believe that consumers may eventually look for and insist every food establishment be protected and stamped with a 'Food Safe' seal of approval. We believe that there are no other products like the Ozone products on the market today. The water industry provides many purification choices to consumers, such as filters, UV systems, and reverse osmosis systems, yet nothing was previously available allowing the consumer to simultaneously kill bacteria in water and on surfaces, or help in the reduction of microbial contamination within the kitchen or food preparation environment," stated FSIJ's new CEO, Mr. Zabolotsky.

"The integration of the Ozone product line with FSIJ's process should yield unprecedented and far superior results than previously anticipated. Ozone has been proven to kill bacteria, destroy viruses, and water-borne parasites. Ozone has also been proven to kill germs up to 3,200 times faster than chlorine -- with absolutely no chemical residue. Adding an ozonation product of Tru-Pure's caliber to the FSIJ process will effectuate an overwhelming solution to the domestic and international concerns of food-borne related illnesses from microbial contamination," added FSIJ's new CEO, Mr. Zabolotsky.
