Telelogic Signs Euro 0.6 Million Contract with British Communications Company

Communications company adopts Telelogic DOORS(R), TAU(R) Generation1 and SYNERGY(TM) as standard tools for 3G software development


MALMO, Sweden, Dec. 30, 2004 (PRIMEZONE) -- Telelogic (Stockholm Exchange: TLOG), the leading global provider of solutions for advanced software and systems development, today announced that it has signed an agreement for Telelogic DOORS, Telelogic TAU Generation1 and Telelogic SYNERGY with a global communications corporation. The term based license agreement is worth 0.6 MEUR over a three year period.

The customer, headquartered in UK, is a leading designer, manufacturer and marketer of innovative wireless solutions for the worldwide mobile communications market. This agreement is signed with a business unit within this corporation, which develops software for 3G protocol stacks. The Telelogic suite of products will be implemented as the standard tools for requirements management, configuration management, development, and testing by this business unit.

For all manufacturers of wireless user equipment, this is a highly competitive market where time-to-market and product quality is paramount. The use of DOORS, TAU Generation1 and SYNERGY in the development lifecycle will help the customer to continuously increase its productivity and quality for software development.
