The product is designed to increase data transfer rates for consumer electronic media content such as MP3, digital photos and videos. It is the only host controller that supports dual SD/SDIO slots. This allows handheld devices such as PDAs to operate SD memory and SDIO simultaneously.

The CG-200 offers up to 25MBps of data throughput (sustainable at 20MBps) at 50MHz, which allows SD memory and an SDIO application such as a WLAN, GPS or digital camera to work simultaneously without any performance degradation. The product is equipped with an embedded 8/16/32 bit bus for increased transfer speeds along with standard PCI and IDE bus interfaces. The product offers low power consumption and is capable of booting Windows OS or any other stored operating system without the need of a hard disk. CG-200 supports various host device operating systems such as PocketPC2002, Windows-CE, Windows-XP, and various embedded operating systems such as Linux and micro-ITRON.
C-guys' CG-200 based SD-MemoryDrive (CG-SDMD101 for a single slot) and (CG-SDMD201 for dual slots) is a compact and low cost SD-ATA adapter for an alternative to external or internal hard drives that can be used as a main storage method instead of a hard drive. This allows users to better manage their media content. Unlike typical hard drives, SD memory does not need to be protected from environmental conditions such as humidity, shocks, vibration and offers lower power consumption than hard drives. The adapter allows for fast data transfer rates of up to 19MB/s, which is ideal for diagnostics or for transferring large amounts of data.
C-guys SD-Dupli (CG-SDDP100), also based on CG-200 technology, is a reliable, easy-to-use SD memory duplicator that allows for quick duplication of SD memory content to multiple SD cards simultaneously. A single duplicator can be used for up to five SD duplications (1:5 duplication) and can copy 1GB of data in less than 2 minutes. The duplicator can also be cascaded for additional simultaneous duplications. The duplicator can sustain the copy with data rates of 20MB/s. The CG-200 utilizes C-guys' patent pending technology, Ultra-DMA. This allows the SD-Dupli to quickly process data and automatically includes a double-error-checking procedure, which ensures error-free copying of digital content. Because the SD-Dupli can be recognized as the system hard drive when connected to a PC, users can also quickly create or modify data located on that PC. The product also supports high speed content erasing and formatting.
Backed by a limited lifetime warranty, the SD-MemoryDrive (CG-SDMD101) and (CG-SDMD201) will be available by mid Jan/05 at an MSRP of $50 and $65 respectively. The SD-Dupli (CG-SDDP100) will be available by the end of Feb/05 at an MSRP of $3,800.
