STOCKHOLM, Sweden, Jan. 12, 2005 (PRIMEZONE) -- KLIPPAN AB and Xeikon International have concluded an agreement on the qualification of KLIPPAN High Tech paper for the Xeikon 5000 digital colour press. High Tech is KLIPPAN's digital portfolio and consists of the products Art, Ultra, Matt (X9) and Silk.
The agreement covers the qualification of KLIPPAN High Tech products for all Xeikon 5000 engines. As part of this agreement, all new Xeikon 5000 configurations will be equipped with KLIPPAN High Tech paper at delivery.
Xeikon International is a world market leader in digital colour printing. The Xeikon 5000 is Xeikon's state-of-the-art digital colour press introduced at last year's drupa trade show in Germany, of which the 2004 sales target of 60 engines already had been reached in September.
