(ISD) (Pink Sheets:ITDJ), a provider of enterprise software aimed at small- and medium-sized enterprises, today announced that it made a follow-up sale with Solo Telecom, one of Israel's largest telecom service labs.
Initially, BENEFIT was purchased by Dai Telecom on behalf of Solo Telecom, a privately held service company, to help Solo provide service to all of Dai Telecom's handhelds in the market. This alone was considered an important step forward for ISD, as Dai Telecom is an exclusive representative of Pantech & Curitel, Telit, Ezze Mobile and IXI Mobile in the lucrative Israeli telephony market.
Because of the overwhelming success that Solo Telecom experienced in using BENEFIT to service Dai's customers, Solo decided to purchase BENEFIT to help service all of their other customers. While Dai is a major player in the local cellular market, there are other cellular providers and over 4.5 million handheld units in the market that need to be serviced, meaning that Solo has a real need for a powerful CRM solution to service this large market. Another advantage that Solo saw in using BENEFIT is that it is fully compatible with SAP Business One, offering a comprehensive enterprise solution for the small and mid-size markets.
