NEW YORK, Feb. 8, 2005 (PRIMEZONE) -- AdZone Research Inc. (OTCBB:ADZR) today reported that David F. Rivers, a former Vice President with pharmaceutical giant Pfizer Inc. (NYSE:PFE), and who also held executive positions with General Motors, has joined the company's Advisory Board.

Rivers served with Pfizer for 34 years. He was Vice President of Research, Development, and Engineering operations for the Schick & Wilkinson Sword Group from 1993 until 2003. In this position, he was responsible for all new product and process activity for the business worldwide.

Prior to joining Pfizer, he also held executive positions with the Fisher Body Division of General Motors in Engineering, Quality, and Manufacturing operations before joining Pfizer. He began his career at Pfizer in 1969 as a Production Superintendent in the Schick Operations, and held positions of increasing responsibility in the Schick and Consumer Products Groups in Manufacturing, Engineering and Research and Development.

Rivers retired from Pfizer in October 2003 to become CEO of the Patriot Lift Company. Patriot Lift Company manufactures and sells the exclusive technology for pneumatic automation of landing gear and stabilizers for the trucking industry. Its headquarters and manufacturing facilities are located in St Croix USVI.

A graduate of Northeastern University, with degrees in Mechanical Engineering, Rivers also has done graduate work in engineering, materials management, and Six Sigma Quality. He has been on the Advisory Board of Quinnipiac University in Hamden, Conn., for the past 25 years.

"We are very fortunate to have recruited Dave Rivers to join our Advisory Board," said AdZone Chairman & CEO Charles A. Cardona. "His outstanding and highly visible business experience nicely compliments the military and business expertise of our other Advisory Board members, General John Conley and General Paul Weaver. Collectively, they will help us execute our expanded business plan in all three operating sectors," said the CEO.
