Nuytco Research Ltd. to Test Power Technology Prototype Battery for Submarine Applications


HOUSTON, April 11, 2005 (PRIMEZONE) -- Power Technology (OTCBB:PWTC) announced today that Nuytco Research Ltd. of Vancouver, British Columbia, (http://www.nuytco.com), a manufacturer of submersibles, has asked Power Technology to design and provide it with deep cycle, AGM prototype batteries for testing in its submersibles. Mike Reay, Engineering Technologist of Nuytco Research Ltd., stated: "The magnitude of the performance increase of the Power Technology battery over conventional lead-acid batteries is stunning. The increase in energy capacity is a huge advantage for submarine applications. We want to install and test the Power Technology prototypes as soon as they are available." Bernard J.
