Triton and Starbourn Announce Alliance

Companies Unite to Bring Advanced Ethanol Production Technology to Global Alternative Energy Market

RESTON, Va., April 26, 2005 (PRIMEZONE) -- Triton Technologies, Inc. (Pink Sheets:TNTG) and Starbourn Energy, LLC of Denver, Colorado, announced today that they have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to form an alliance to jointly market, manufacture and distribute Starbourn's advanced ethanol production technology to the global alternative energy market. The alliance will operate under the name Starbourn-Triton and will focus initial operations on the construction of ethanol plants in the United States and the United Kingdom. The plants are expected to produce 25,000 to 50,000 gallons of ethanol per day.

Starbourn-Triton's proprietary GTL (Gas-to-Liquid) ethanol technology is a highly advanced and unique non-fermentation-based flow-through system that can use a variety of alternative fossil-based or waste-sanitary biomass feed stocks to generate high-test ethanol at a greater volume and at a lower cost per gallon than other competitive methods. Using Starbourn-Triton's proprietary and patented technology, initial tests and pilot projects indicate the cost to produce high-grade ethanol is almost 50 percent less than current fermentation-based methods. In addition, ethanol produced by Starbourn-Triton has little moisture content making the product more stable and portable than conventional ethanol.

"Starbourn's advanced technology is in very high demand because it utilizes alternative energy fuel sources and delivers a higher quality product at a lower cost than competing methods," said Triton CEO Chris Zanardi. "In addition, given the current market demand for ethanol, we anticipate that each Starbourn-Triton facility will deliver a strong and consistent stream of recurring revenue for the Company and its shareholders."

Starbourn-Triton has received commitments to produce four 25,000 to 50,000 gallon per day ethanol production facilities in the Midwest and Western United States and the United Kingdom. The companies expect to break ground on the initial facility in the Fall of 2005. Sales of Starbourn-Triton-produced ethanol will be made through ready and existing power and gasoline distribution blending markets.

"Triton brings to the table a strong combination of marketing expertise and a thorough understanding of the global alternative energy marketplace," said Starbourn CEO Russell Hilbourn. "We look forward to working with them to bring this advanced technology to market and meeting the increasing global demand for high-grade ethanol."
