ATA Airlines Offers 48-Hour Sale on Fares From Albuquerque to Honolulu, Maui, New York, Boston, Minneapolis, Newark and Washington, D.C.

INDIANAPOLIS, May 3, 2005 (PRIMEZONE) -- New Mexico residents are invited to try the newest air service to spring up in Albuquerque as a result of codeshare flights offered by ATA Airlines, Inc. (Pink Sheets:ATAHQ) and Southwest Airlines. ATA's low introductory sale fares are for travel to be completed by June 30, 2005, from Albuquerque to Honolulu, Maui, New York, Boston, Minneapolis, Newark and Washington, D.C. Tickets for sale fares must be purchased on ata.com before 10 p.m. (M.D.T.) on May 4, 2005.

"Our codeshare agreement with Southwest opens a new gateway for ATA to serve New Mexico. These low introductory sale fares are our way of saying welcome to ATA," said Stan Hula, Vice President, Planning. "Codeshare offers seamless travel with Southwest and our ability to get you to your destination, easily and without any hassles."

This is all part of the new codeshare agreement that allows the two airlines to offer Albuquerque-area travelers more low fares to more cities via easy connecting service. Customers board Southwest flights at Albuquerque International Sunport Airport (ABQ) and connect to ATA's jet service, either at Chicago Midway Airport (MDW) or Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport (PHX).

Hawaii and the East Coast just got a little more affordable. Sale fares begin at $99(a) off-peak, each way based on a 7-day advance round-trip purchase in coach class on ata.com
