TORONTO, May 3, 2005 (PRIMEZONE) -- Produce Safety and Security International Inc, or the 'Company' (Pink Sheets:PDSS) is pleased to announce that the ozone unit for Red Hawk Farms of Picacho, Arizona will be completed by May 20th . Red Hawk Farms packing begins around May 25, 2005, and Produce Safety's first truck washer will be in operation for the beginning of packing at Red Hawk Farms.
Red Hawk Farms second packing facility located in Dateland, Arizona will be in operation by May 28th, and PDSS expects the ozone unit for this location to be installed by May 23, 2005. Truck washing operations are revenue sharing joint ventures with PDSS and Red Hawk Farms. Additional services being provided for Red Hawk's Picacho, Arizona location include dust control in the field and loading areas at the packing facility, which are currently under construction.
