ASHEVILLE, N.C., May 3, 2005 (PRIMEZONE) -- Homeland Integrated Security Systems, Inc. (Pink Sheets:HISC) announced today that it has completed Phase II of the Savannah Port Project.
According to Ian Riley, CTO of Homeland Integrated Security Systems, Inc. (HISS), "Phase II was designed to test system capacity and long term data collection, as well as hardware and software performance. Phase II has exceeded all our expectations."
The project at the Savannah Port is being conducted in conjunction with Georgia Tech and the Maritime Logistics Innovation Center (MLIC). The project consists of three phases. According to Fred Wicks, COO of HISS, "Our experience on the Garden City Port has demonstrated that our hardware and software systems will meet or exceed all expectations.
