Integrated Software Development Announces Additional Contracts to Army

BENEFIT to Manage Critical Field Service System

KIRYAT BIALIK, Israel and LAS VEGAS, May 9, 2005 (PRIMEZONE) -- Integrated Software Development Ltd. (ISD) (Pink Sheets:ITWJ), a provider of enterprise software aimed at small-and medium-sized enterprises, today announced the sale of BENEFIT to another unit in the Israel Defense Forces (IDF).

ISD was awarded this long-term contract only three months after installing its BENEFIT system in the Logistics Unit of the IDF to manage subcontractors. The new installation, costing thousands of dollars per unit, is far more critical to the operations of IDF. BENEFIT will manage field service technicians via wireless PDAs. The technicians are responsible for the maintenance of critical IDF equipment. "Initially, this system will operate for 50 technicians," notes Moti Maram, CEO of ISD. "In the near future, there will be over 300 field technicians working through our system."

The details of this system are particularly interesting, as the features can be applied to other vertical markets. Specifically, BENEFIT will monitor the field technicians, offering fully automated reporting of the technicians' locations via the wireless PDA. In addition, the technicians will be able to remotely perform all of their reporting to the BENEFIT tracking system, which means that IDF management will be able to monitor and generate reports on the functioning of highly critical equipment in real time.

"We were the single real option that the IDF had when they put out the tender for this system," says Maram. "There is virtually no room for error in maintaining operations-critical systems for the IDF, and that's why BENEFIT is really the only available solution."

ISD participated in this tender through the lead of Trilogical Technologies Inc. (www.trilogical.com), a privately-held company that specializes in integrating cellular, 2-way wireless and GPS-based functionality into existing systems. The GPS system, in addition to wireless communications, is a key to the feature-rich functionality of the system that the IDF purchased for this field service management solution. Trilogical's solutions are applicable to a wide range of systems in companies around the world, including fleet management, field service management, monitoring and control systems and security and telemetry applications.

BENEFIT is an off-the-shelf solution that is geared toward small- to mid-sized customers in service-intensive industries. It offers the power and many of the features found in custom-made CRM and ERP enterprise systems at a fraction of the cost. BENEFIT includes many CRM functions serving the needs of organizations for greater internal efficiency, cost control, and customer service quality.
