Mr. Gartlan's career includes executive-level positions at a number of large international publishing companies and leading financial firms. Gene was CFO for The Thomson Corporation - Information Publishing Group where he was responsible for the financial management of a $4 billion decentralized information publishing company with more than 150 business units worldwide operating in a range of markets including financial, educational, professional, medical and technology markets. Additionally, Gene was CFO at International Data Group, a company encompassing 275 magazine and newspaper, research, book publishing and exposition operations in 75 countries with annual revenue in excess of $2 billion.
He was also CFO at Moody's Investors Service, Inc. where he was responsible for the complete financial management of this leading international bond rating agency and financial information publisher. He was CFO of Maxwell Macmillan International Publishing Co., and held senior level financial management positions at The Dun & Bradstreet Corporation. Mr. Gartlan was with Price Waterhouse in the earlier part of his career and is a CPA.
Before joining Innova Holdings, Gene was President of Stratex Solutions, LLC, a private consulting firm where he provided a broad array of financial services to companies including Innova Holdings.
Gene has hands-on experience attaining strategic goals in complex international markets and has been responsible for overseeing many acquisitions, financings, accounting, international treasury, internal controls, and budgets as well as a variety of operating activities in support of growth strategies.
