ORLANDO, Fla., June 20, 2005 (PRIMEZONE) -- Raven Moon Entertainment, Inc. (OTCBB:RVNM) announced today that its wholly owned subsidiary Raven Animation, Inc., located at MG Studios in Orlando, plans to produce three "Disney/Pixar style" fully animated low-budget theatrical films with the same technology used in "Toy Story", "Shrek" and "The Incredibles" with a budget of only $1,500,000 per film for the G-Rated movie marketplace, where parents and kids can't wait to buy the next movie ticket.
Raven Moon has already produced the music soundtrack and will begin the animation process next month of a 14 minute distribution trailer for "Gina D & The Transistor Sisters"(r) which is the first of three low-budget G-Rated animated family films that will be produced at a cost of only $1,500,000 each and financed through three limited partnerships that will not dilute the company's stock.
"This low-budget concept is not new. Independent film companies have successful turned low-budget films costing only approximately one to three million dollars such as: 'The Adventures of Grizzly Adams', 'The Amityville Horror', 'In Search of Noah's Ark', 'Fahrenheit 911' and 'The Blair Witch Project' into blockbuster profits of $25,000,000 or more. The difference that gives us a 2005 edge, is that we have the 3D technology, the creative team and the ability to produce low-budget animated features in a high demand consumer market," stated Joey DiFrancesco, Raven Moon's CEO.
The other two films slated for production are "The BOBO Blocks Movie"(tm) and "The Dino Bugs Movie"(tm) which will be produced at the same costs and financed the same way for this booming kid flick business.
