KWI Promotes Marc Moderegger to VP of Development


HOUSTON and LONDON, June 21, 2005 (PRIMEZONE) -- KWI, the leading provider of energy trading and risk management (ETRM) software for the global energy industry, today announced the appointment of KWI veteran Marc Moderegger to vice president of development. Building on seven years of experience at KWI, Mr. Moderegger will be responsible for all aspects of development including design, development, quality assurance and documentation of KWI's sophisticated multi-commodity platform, K2.

Mr. Moderegger has held a number of senior roles at KWI including vice president of operations, North America, during which time he lead KWI's successful entry into the North American ETRM market and established KWI's North American headquarters in Houston. Over the past two years, Mr. Moderegger has led the engineering team responsible for the development and successful launch of K2.

Prior to joining the company, Mr. Moderegger ran his own software consultancy in Australia, where he worked with a number of large clients including BOC Gases, State Bank, Lend Lease, and IBM.

Mr. Moderegger has a B.Sc. Chemical Engineering degree from the University of New South Wales. He will be based at KWI's global headquarters in London.
