STOCKHOLM, Sweden, July 01, 2005 (PRIMEZONE) -- Alfa Laval -- a world leader in heat transfer, centrifugal separation and fluid handling -- has received an order for plate heat exchangers from a Saudi Arabian petroleum company. The total value is about MSEK 100.
The Saudi Arabian company is expanding and this step will add further production capacity to the existing industrial complex. The plate heat exchangers are part of a central cooling system where fresh water in a closed loop provides cooling of process equipment. The fresh water in its turn is cooled down using water coming from the sea by means of plate heat exchangers.
Delivery will take place during 2006 and 2007.
