World Golf League Lines Up Celebrities for the Million Dollar Shootout

ORLANDO, Fla., July 5, 2005 (PRIMEZONE) -- The World Golf League, Inc. (OTCBB: WGFL) announced today that it would contract with four celebrities to participate in the upcoming Million Dollar Shootout reality television series. The planned host of the series is John O'Hurley from Seinfeld fame and currently one of the finalists on ABC's Dancing with the Stars. Additionally, PGA Tour Star Fred Funk, Golf Channel's Big Break II Star Don Donatello and an LPGA Tour Star to be named later will be used as lifelines for the competing teams.

"We are thrilled to have such an all-star cast which will provide significant entertainment value for the Million Dollar Shootout," said Mike Pagnano, CEO The WGL, Inc. "John O'Hurley is an avid single digit handicap golfer with tremendous viewer appeal. Fred Funk is one of the most admired players on the PGA Tour and Don Donatello was very well received on the Big Break II for his skills and unique personality. Rounding out the cast will be a current LPGA Tour Star, who will add the necessary female touch to the celebrity cast," Mr. Pagnano went on to say.

The WGL markets a professional golf concept in the USA, which allows average golfers to play for substantial prize money in local and regional tournaments culminating with a PGA-style national event. The WGL is also the producer of the Million Dollar Shootout reality television series and has awarded over $1,000,000 in prize money to date.
