Media Advisory -- Northrop Grumman Announces Work Schedule Changes In Gulf Region Due to Hurricane Dennis


PASCAGOULA, Miss., July 10, 2005 (PRIMEZONE) -- Northrop Grumman Corporation's (NYSE:NOC) Ship Systems sector continues to monitor Hurricane Dennis as the storm moves inland across southern Alabama and Florida and eastern Mississippi. The Company announces the following work-schedule updates in the Gulf of Mexico region as a result of the storm.

Pascagoula and Gulfport, Miss:



 -- On Monday, July 11, designated storm-restoration team members,
    including maintenance and transportation employees, will report
    to work on their regular shifts beginning with the first shift.
    Other employees will be called in on an as-needed basis to help
    return the facilities to normal operations.

 -- On Tuesday, July 12, all office workers and production employees
    will report to work on their regular shifts beginning with the
    first shift.

 -- FORREST SHERMAN (DDG 98), which departed NGSS' Pascagoula
    Operations mid-day Friday for storm avoidance, continues underway
    in the western Gulf of Mexico. The ship will not return to
    Pascagoula until the ship channel reopens. Northrop Grumman is in
    contact with personnel onboard ship, receiving periodic updates.
