PHILADELPHIA, Aug. 19, 2005 (PRIMEZONE) -- In preparation for its September 30, 2005 investment application due date, Ben Franklin Technology Partners of Southeastern Pennsylvania (BFTP/SEP) will host four capital briefings in the Philadelphia region over the next few weeks. These briefings will introduce a streamlined pre-application process designed to provide entrepreneurs more immediate feedback on their investment opportunity as well as the types of BFTP/SEP resources that may be available to assist them.
BFTP/SEP holds these capital briefings for technology company entrepreneurs and business advisors that seek investment for technology development, commercialization and/or working capital. Regardless of the type of technology or the company's stage of development, entrepreneurs and business advisors are encouraged to learn about BFTP/SEP's application process and investment programs.
The briefings will cover such topics as investment ranges and structures, company qualifications, proposal preparation, evaluation processes, as well as information on a variety of other entrepreneurial assistance programs available through BFTP/SEP. The dates and times scheduled are:
