Interface Between Universal Computer Systems and Rome Technologies Completed

HOUSTON, Sept. 2, 2005 (PRIMEZONE) -- In a continual effort to provide beneficial interfaces to its dealership management system, Universal Computer Systems (UCS) is pleased to announce its integration with Rome Technologies' body shop software, CompleteShop(tm). By utilizing UCS' Posting Data Upload application, dealerships can upload files with repair order details from Rome Technologies' CompleteShop(tm) software to the UCS Computer System. These files generate accounting records, which are then posted into UCS' Management Accounting application, saving time through reduced keypunching.

"Our integration with Rome Technologies benefits dealers who use the CompleteShop(tm) software for their body shops and wish to pull these transactions into their UCS Accounting system without manual entry. Through this interface, dealership personnel can take full advantage of the UCS System's extensive financial reporting capabilities when analyzing accounting activity. The addition of Rome Technologies to our Business Connexion program demonstrates our strong commitment to meeting the needs of our clients," comments Dan Agan, Executive Vice President for UCS.

"With the completed implementation of Rome Technologies' Dealer Connection for UCS, our mutual clients will now receive the best of both worlds. First, their body shops will have the ability to operate using the most advanced techniques and tools available to maximize production, customer service, and profits without double entry. Historically, the backing in and balancing that occurred between DMS and estimating systems consumed hours upon hours of time each month. This process is now completely eliminated. Second, UCS clients will receive accurate and timely accounting data from their shops. This important strategic partnership is one that gives both UCS and Rome an opportunity to add real value and offer increased competitiveness to our clients," states Scott Rome, President, Rome Technologies.
