TAMPA, Fla., Sept. 12, 2005 (PRIMEZONE) -- Rx Processing Corporation (Pink Sheets:RXPC), a leading source of low-cost, prescription medications for millions of Americans who have no prescription insurance coverage, announces today that Direct Labs Services (DLS) re-started operations September 6th 2005 in Destine, Florida and effective September 12th, DLS will move operations back to Louisiana.
Rx Processing Corp. lost contact with Direct Labs Services Inc., based in southern Louisiana for a number of days after Hurricane Katrina. We are energized by the strength of DLS in the wake of the devastation of Hurricane Katrina, and are happy to report all employees are safe and DLS is 100% operational because of John Bell and Jeannie Bells agility and the focus of all the employees.
Direct Labs Services president John Bell and Vice President Jeannie Bell are an unstoppable combination, daunted with an immeasurable task of delivering lab results and processing time critical lab orders in the face of the total devastation of Hurricane Katrina. John Bell, Jeannie Bell and the employees endured this tragedy like it was business as usual. The good health of all employees enabled them to immediately take the appropriate steps to relocate to Destine, Florida where they leased space to house the employees, set up three phone lines, Internet connectivity, and used a system of walkie-talkies to run the internal office communications.
Peter Fiorillo, CEO of Rx Processing commented, "John Bell, and Jeannie Bell are the driving forces of DLS and they deserve all of the credit for bringing DLS back online; they took control of the situation by relocating the office to Destine, Florida, provided housing for the employees and maintained focus on servicing of the clients. I am ecstatic that all employees have been accounted for."
God Bless all of the victims of Hurricane Katrina.
