PLYMOUTH, Mich., Sept. 14, 2005 (PRIMEZONE) -- Auto-Lab, a 24-unit Michigan based chain of automotive diagnostic service centers, has announced that Dave Ziolkowski of Brighton, MI, has become the master franchiser for Michigan and northwest Ohio.
Frank Brandenberg, managing director Auto-Lab Franchise Management Corporation, a Plymouth, Michigan based company, a Detroit suburb, announced the agreement for the franchise rights for Michigan.
Prior to the acquisition, Ziolkowski, a native of Lansing and graduate of Central Michigan University where he earned a master of business administration degree and a bachelor of science in business administration, finance/economics, was vice president of sales for netXert, an Ann Arbor software developer. He has more than 20 years experience in sales management with small business enterprise within major corporations, including Xerox, Kelly Services and Workscape.
According to Ziolkowski, there is the potential to triple the current number of Auto-Labs in Michigan and for growth in the Toledo, OH area.
"We see a tremendous potential for multiple Auto-Lab locations in Metropolitan Detroit, Ann Arbor, Flint, Bay City, Jackson, Saginaw, Lansing and Grand Rapids plus single unit expansion in Zeeland, Muskegon, Ludington, Gaylord, Brighton and any city where quality auto care is desired from an organization willing to warranty their work for 12 months or 12,000 miles!" he said.
"We offer customers the most advanced computerized engine, electrical and diagnostic equipment along with a regimented diagnosis process, so the customer is receiving an honest and technically driven assessment of their vehicle's service needs. We believe there is always room for good, honest automotive service."
Auto-Lab was founded in 1988, and acquired by Auto-Lab Franchise Management Corporation in 2004. There are currently 16-Auto-Lab locations in metro Detroit and eight outstate Michigan. Additional information is available at www.autolabusa.com or by calling 810/923-0431.
