MANDEVILLE, La., Nov. 10, 2005 (PRIMEZONE) -- Crosspoint Group, Inc. (Pink Sheets:CPGP) today announced that it has concluded the purchase of the exclusive distributing and marketing rights of Lectrique Solaire(c) solar distributed energy and LED lighting products.
Crosspoint, through its "subsidiary" Crosspoint Solar, Inc., will distribute thermal and photovoltaic power systems for commercial and residential needs, net metering with solar generated power, lighting products using LED systems, HID lighting powered by solar, water pumping products and underground and above ground AC and DC systems. Crosspoint Group, Inc. is the only company in the United States and Europe with designs using high voltage distributed power systems (photovoltaic) such as the rural grid stability units, residential power units, commercial power units, portable power units and others. It is also one of only two companies in the United States with a successful three-phase solar power grid transmission facility in operation.
The company's products and services include Power Company Electrical Grid systems, Residential Solar Products, Commercial Solar Products and LED lighting systems. It has also recently released a Portable Solar Generator stand-alone system with solar panels which will generate enough electricity to support the much-discussed FEMA trailers without gas.
According to Alex Steffen at www.WorldChanging.com on December 10, 2003, "distributed energy and smart grids could do for power what cell phones have done for communications."
