VANCOUVER, British Columbia, Nov. 28, 2005 (PRIMEZONE) -- S2C Global Systems Inc. (Pink Sheets:STWG) has concluded the initial field trial of its Aquaduct unit in Verona, Ontario. As a result of the trial, supplier and consumer input, S2C has incorporated design changes and prepared new shop-drawings for tender and mass production purposes. S2C is disseminating these drawings to manufacturing plants in Mexico and Canada as it ramps up to strategically place units in Quebec, Texas and California.
"Our team has been heads down for the last few months in order to prepare for our market launch early in the New Year. We are excited about the design changes believing they will make the individual units operationally more efficient, reduce manufacturing costs and ultimately be more profitable going forward," says Rod Bartlett, S2C's CEO.
A highlight of the new design incorporates the vault component of an automated teller machine (ATM) in order that S2C can exploit the additional drive up banking features the proprietary Communiteq Point of Sale system provides. "Besides the additional revenue from a variety of financial transactions, having a full ATM built into every Aquaduct opens up additional locations to S2C," states CEO, Rod Bartlett. "We realize consumers want to complete multiple tasks whenever they can and that retailers want to get as much out of every square inch as possible; Aquaducts can satisfy both."
