WOODLAND HILLS, Calif., Dec. 21, 2005 (PRIMEZONE) -- Online photo-sharing service PhotoSite announced today that it has added new browser-based album-building tools that enable its members to upload photos and build online albums from any Internet-connected computer. At the same time, PhotoSite has dramatically lowered the price of each of its service packages.
Just in time for the holidays, PhotoSite members can now use browser-based editing tools to upload photos and design albums from any computer simply by logging on to their account at www.photosite.com. Previously, members were required to use the downloadable AlbumBuilder software to upload and design. The new browser-based tools give members the ability to:

In addition to debuting the new album-building features, PhotoSite has also reduced the prices on its services packages and added a new PhotoSite Unlimited package that features unlimited photo uploads and a sub-domain for $2.99 per month.

PhotoSite enables its members (free and paid) to quickly and easily upload photos, edit them with an assortment of tools including cropping and color management, and arrange them into albums to share online with their friends. Free members can upload a maximum of 100 photos. In addition to increasing the number of photos that can be uploaded, the three PhotoSite paid memberships include access to premium album layouts and headers. With the PhotoSite Unlimited Plus plan members also receive a personalized top-level Web domain. PhotoSite members can also purchase prints at 29 cents for a 4x6 and $3.79 for an 8x10.
