TAMPA, Fla., Jan. 19, 2006 (PRIMEZONE) -- FTS Group, Inc. (OTCBB:FLIP), a publicly traded acquisition and development company operating in the wireless space through its wholly owned subsidiaries FTS Wireless, Inc. and See World Satellites, Inc., today announced that it has named Mr. David Rasmussen as its new chief operating officer effective February 1st. Mr. Rasmussen will also serve as CEO and board member of FTS' wholly owned subsidiary See World Satellites, Inc.

Prior to joining FTS as COO Mr. Rasmussen was employed as a project leader with ERC a subsidiary of General Electric. He is co-inventor of a patent pending audit application developed while at ERC. He earned his bachelor's degree in computer technology from Rockhurst University in Kansas City, Missouri. Dave served in the United States Air Force for eight years as a communications systems operator. Mr. Rasmussen has served as a director of FTS since 2002.
