VANCOUVER, British Columbia, Feb. 21, 2006 (PRIMEZONE) -- Wataire Industries, Inc. (Pink Sheets:WTAF), an international company focusing on developing and delivering technology-based water harvesting systems worldwide, is pleased to announce confirmation of orders to Mexico and Bangkok, Thailand.
Wataire Industries has received confirmation of sale to Tecno Alta Distribucion of Mexico City, Mexico for the purchase of one container of WII 4010 Atmospheric water generators. The generators are being shipped immediately.
The company is also participating with Tecno Alta Distribucion in the "World Water Expo" being held from March 16 to 22 in conjunction with the "4th World Water Forum."
The World Water Forum is held every three years; this year it is being held in Mexico City, Mexico. The theme of the forum is "Local Actions for Global Challenge" which will reflect awareness related to water issues around the world, including conservation, public policy, water treatment, and economic opportunities at all levels of society and government.
The "World Water Expo" has been a successful international event since 1997, attracting government officials from over one hundred and fifty countries looking for services and solutions from companies looking to expand their services abroad.
Wataire Industries will be sending technical advisors and management to attend the Exposition.
Wataire is also pleased to announce that Mediterranean Industries and Consulting Services Ltd has placed an order for one 2,500 liter per day Commercial/Industrial Water Generator. The generator will be shipped within the week to Bangkok, Thailand. The unit is planned to be used for demonstration purposes by Mediterranean at Saengvith Science Co. Ltd. in Bangkok.
Unit demonstration will be provided for military and navy representatives whom Mediterranean contemplates to be their most important clients in Thailand.
