ATLANTA, March 7, 2006 (PRIMEZONE) -- myPhotopipe.com today completed the delivery of more than 20 framed photographs to the 3rd Army Headquarters at Fort McPherson, near Atlanta, Georgia. The prints were the first in what will be a total of 28 enlargements, the most dramatic of which is 4-feet wide and 6-feet tall.

"This is the type of demanding job our lab was built to handle," Jeff Thames, Director of Business Development for Color Genesis/myPhotopipe.com told Sergeant 1st Class Deborah Robichaux, Public Affairs Office NCOIC. "Every picture is in some ways priceless but none more so than those moments captured on film that would otherwise be lost to history. These are powerful images that needed to be big but that's not always easy, particularly when we using photography taken in theater." The new installation commemorates the 3rd Army's recent deployments to the Middle East.
myPhotopipe, the national lab division of Atlanta-based Color Genesis, recently announced its slate of 94 standard print sizes which included the super-sized photographic enlargements and panoramic prints.
The contract for 20 of the 28 images will be completed the week of March 6th, with the remaining 8 images to be selected from future events throughout the year.
