We told you yesterday before the open:
Our "Strong Sell" rating on DIAMONDS (AMEX:DIA) is about as pure a short play as we've made before. The DIA just seems ready for a breather.
We're telling you again.
The stock market is overbought. There are some stocks that are "less overbought" than others. But, at this point we are looking at way of "not losing" rather than outright "winning."
Our "Buy" on the QQQQ, for example is tentative -- at best. It's the least overbought of the major markets, but still not a prime candidate for a huge move up.
If you are looking for an opportunity, check into GOLD. We've been POUNDING THE TABLES on Gold (AMEX:GLD) since 2004. We see ANY weakness in GOLD right now as a BUYING opportunity.
There are some who believe GOLD is overbought. Our warning to shorts is not to "buy the lie." Stay strong and hang on y'all; the ride may be rocky.
