HOUSTON, March 29, 2006 (PRIMEZONE) -- Universal Computer Systems was named the 2006 Diamond Award Winner in Auto Dealer Monthly magazine's Dealers' Choice Awards for the second year in a row, finishing first in the Data Management Systems category.
Survey participants were asked to rank their DMS provider in three areas:
-- Performance of the product or service provided by the vendor -- Customer service and support offered by the vendor -- Overall value as compared to the cost for the product or service
This is the second year Auto Dealer Monthly has recognized the most highly regarded vendors, suppliers and lenders in the retail automotive industry as voted on by dealers. The published companies had to meet a minimum number of votes, as well as finish at or above the group average based on the level of positive responses received. Approximately 16,000 total votes were cast across all categories, and these votes were heavily scrutinized for authenticity in the final tabulation. Ultimately, 50 winners, all chosen by dealers and dealership personnel, were named in 20 distinctive categories of products and services.
