What: At this year's event, two of Lantronix engineers will
educate attendees on important issues for embedded
systems -- embedded security and wireless networking.
Daryl R. Miller, senior director of engineering and
Matthew Fatheree, embedded software engineer will be
presenting "Security, More than Just Encryption", which
will educate attendees on the number of factors
designers must consider when adding security to their
applications. Specifically, Mr. Miller will discuss key
design considerations, device vulnerabilities and the
technologies required to add a device with the highest
level of security available to a network.
Gary Marrs, senior field application engineer will be
presenting "Wireless Networking Technology - How and Why"
during the Wireless Design Seminar Series. With several
concerns and misconceptions still plaguing the adoption
of this technology, Mr. Marrs will discuss the various
wireless technologies available, the key application
considerations and the resources and expertise required
to successfully implement wireless technology.
