SCOTTSDALE, Ariz., April 11, 2006 (PRIMEZONE) -- Desert Health Products, Inc. (OTCBB:DHPI) announces it has received authorization to market internationally: OXINE(R) a 100% bio-degradable patented product and bio-security agent against avian influenza. OXINE(R) is manufactured by Bio-Cide International, Inc., a producer of environmentally friendly products, headquartered in Norman, Oklahoma USA.

OXINE(R) provides superior sanitation in the following areas of applications: Misting and Water Treatment for Laying and Hatchery Environs. For Breeders and Broiler Houses: Eliminates Bio-Film; Walls, Floors, Ceilings & Drains. Additional usage for any Hard Surface Disinfections and Animal Hospital applications.

OXINE(R) fed through the watering system and misted over poultry has shown effective results against Avian Influenza, Salmonella, Coccidiosis and E. Coli.

OXINE's(R) patented chemistry allows the product to be suspended in water and most importantly, to be stable. The product is 100% biodegradable and leaves no residue.

OXINE(R) is a chlorine dioxide gas suspended and stabilized in an aqueous solution. It can be used as a disinfecting fog and as a special mist to control surface contaminants and eliminate airborne disease causing microbes. Applications are fully registered with EPA, USDA and FDA.
