BlabberMouth PR Donates Public Relations Services to Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children

DALLAS, April 27, 2006 (PRIMEZONE) -- BlabberMouth L.P., the only PR firm to offer its clients 100% representation by senior-level practitioners, announced today their donation of services to Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children. Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children is one of the nation's leading pediatric centers for the treatment of orthopedic conditions, certain related neurological disorders and learning disorders, such as dyslexia. BlabberMouth will assist the hospital in spreading the word about the hospital's mission among Texas families and children, donors, referring physicians, hospital staff, volunteers and the community-at-large; namely to improve the care of children in Texas and worldwide through innovative research and teaching programs.

"We are so grateful to BlabberMouth for its generous support of the hospital. We truly appreciate when organizations within the community give their time or services," said Kelly Christensen, vice president of public relations at Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children. "BlabberMouth's support helps ensure that the community and people across Texas are aware of Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children and knowledgeable about the hospital's mission, services and events."

Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children was established in 1921 when a group of Texas Masons recognized a growing need to provide medical care for children with polio regardless of a family's ability to pay. They approached Dr. William Beall Carrell, the first orthopedic surgeon in Dallas, and he began to treat polio patients without charge to patient families.

In 1965, Dr. Luke Waites founded the hospital's child-development division, which provides evaluation and treatment for children with learning disorders. In 1968, the World Federation of Neurology met at Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children, and for the first time, the term "dyslexia" was formally defined.

For almost 85 years, Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children has remained dedicated to the children of Texas and has never charged a patient family. The hospital has treated more than 160,000 patients and has emerged as a world leader in pediatric orthopedic research, treatment and education.

"Our commitment to corporate citizenship is demonstrated through our pro bono services to deserving organizations," said Patti D. Hill, President and Founder, BlabberMouth PR. "Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children is a testament to excellence and compassion. We're proud to be of service to such an outstanding organization."

The Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children account is led by, Anna M. Clark, BlabberMouth's Vice President in Dallas.
