BILLERICA, Mass., June 15, 2006 (PRIMEZONE) -- GSI Group Inc. (Nasdaq:GSIG) announced a multiple system purchase order in excess of $2.5 Million for WaferTrim systems used for the production of mixed signal analog and power management chips. Deliveries are scheduled for the third quarter of 2006.
According to Nino Federico, V.P. and General Manager for the company's Laser Systems Group, "This is a follow-on order from a major customer reaffirming GSI's position as market leader in this industry segment."
