McDaniel has been appointed Chief Operating Officer of Blue Frog Solutions, a leading provider of ACORD standards-based middleware solutions and straight-through processing for the life insurance and annuities industry. McDaniel assumed the COO position August 7, 2006.
A veteran technology executive, McDaniel previously served as Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer of Mutual Service Corporation - Pacific Select Distributors (PSD), headquartered in West Palm Beach, Fla. In this role, he was responsible for all IT operations for PSD's six high transaction volume broker/dealers as well as for all development and support for the firm's applications and infrastructure. Prior to his tenure at PSD, McDaniel was Chief Information Officer/Vice President of Technology Services for West Palm Beach-based Ocwen Financial Services.
